Legal & Social Advice Service

The Legal and Social Advice Service (LESAS) at Latin American House offers assistance in immigration, benefits, family and employment law. In all categories of law the service is provided FREE OF CHARGE and is delivered in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

In the category of immigration law, the immigration solicitor provides initial advice and, in some cases, provides casework. The casework can include assistance with preparing and submitting applications or appeals and representation in court at appeals and at bail hearings.

In all other categories of law, advice is provided by barristers, solicitors and advisors who give their time and expertise on a pro-bono basis and unfortunately it is not possible to offer casework in addition to advice.

For more information or to make an appointment for any category of advice please call us on 020 7372 8653 or visit us from Monday to Thursday (between the hours of 10am and 2pm and 3pm and 6pm).

Our service on immigration advice and legal representation is currently funded by Trust for London. The other services are provided by pro-bono advisors.
